Regency has a long history of being the wine authority in our community. Since it's inception as a husband and wife wine and deli shop in the Highland Square area of Akron Ohio, Regency has established itself as the place for everything wine.

Regency Wine Bar offers a complete selection of wines from all over the world. Our new wine bar is an elegant and comfortable place to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine, a craft beer or selection from our liquor and spirits.
We are located in "Merchants Square" on Ghent Road in Fairlawn, Ohio right across from the Summit Mall. Our hours are, Monday through Thursday 10:00 am to 10:00 pm - Friday and Saturday 10:00 am to 12:00 am We are closed on Sunday.

This is what Napa Valley exists for; dark, concentrated,
intriguing, multi-layered and memorable cabernet
sauvignon. The 2010 vintage was a cooler year and
the wines show all dark fruit notes with a certain brightness. Aromatics of earth, smoke, blackberry, sandalwood, red current and baked spices, the initial nose on this wine is charged with concentration and complexity. The palate resolves into earthen black and red currant fruit, mocha and balanced, with a clean mineral finish.

This opaque wine currently shows crushed violets, cocoa nibs and mixed black cooking spices. Some of the subtle minerality is only beginning to show. The palette is very plush and darker small berry fruit carries through here. Very firm chalky tannins begin to build on the palette, which is backed by firm acid. The 10% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot bring extra levels of complexity to this wine. This is a deeper and firmer Cabernet than in previous years, a true classic mountain wine that will take time to show its best, 11-13 years (2024-2026).

In this wine the "Rutherford Dust" produces aromas of black berry and sweet tobacco. Flavors of currant and cherry meld with touches of cedar, vanilla and olive tapenade across the palate. The mouth-feel is plush and velvety, marked by fine-grain tannins and a long finish.
"Frog's Leap strove for elegance above power in this modulated, age worthy wine. Tasted against bigger, riper Cabs, it's almost lean, with herb-infused red cherry, violet and mineral flavors, wrapped into complex tannins. The alcohol is a refreshingly low 13.6%. This is a connoisseur's wine, and it should develop for 10-15 years in a proper cellar."
